How do the synapse models compare?

Compare software synapses and memristor models against the same synthetic target.

Press Play to begin.

Comparison

Aligned lanes compare input spikes, the Version 2 target, and the selected model. Choose All models to display all six lanes. Benchmark results contain full-protocol scores.

Normalized input, synthetic conductance target, and simulated model responses share one time axis.

Benchmark results

These scores compare excitatory and inhibitory conductance responses with the platform’s synthetic targets.

Higher overall scores mean a closer match. A score of 100 is a perfect match.

Comparison method

All models receive the same input spikes.

Scoring gives equal weight to magnitude and waveform shape, measured with relative RMSE and cosine similarity.

The graph’s 220 ms window moves through the full train. Scores use complete responses from all five prediction protocols, excluding calibration inputs.
